SURFACE-ACTIVE PROPERTIES ALVEOLAR SURFACTANT IN PATIENTS IN THE POSTOPERATIVE PERIOD
We have studied the surface-active properties of alveolar surfactant in the early postoperative period. In patients with un-complicated postoperative period there is a decrease of surface-active properties of alveolar surfactant by 27%. In patients with compensated respiratory failure significant deterioration of surface-active properties of alveolar surfactant, outpaced clinical and radiographic manifestations. In patients with severe respiratory failure in the postoperative period revealed significant deterioration of the surface-active properties of alveolar surfactant.
