PULMONARY ARTERIAL HYPERTENSION AS A RARE DEBUT OF A SYSTEMIC LUPUS ERYTHEMATOSUS (CLINICAL CASE DESCRIPTION)
Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is an autoimmune systemic disease of connective tissue that develops on the basis of genetically determined imperfection of immunoregulatory processes, leading to the formation of many antibodies to its own cells and their components and the development of immunocomplex inflammation with damage to many organs and systems. Clinically, the lesion of the respiratory system in SLE is quite variable. This publication describes a rare clinical case of the onset of SLE in a young woman in the form of pulmonary arterial hypertension, with a fatal outcome. The data presented in the article will be useful to representatives of practical health care, rheumatologists, cardiologists and general practitioners.
